The fifth album in the discography of Slow the Band: „Quartet Live” - is out on Sept. 26th, 2025. The recording was made on Sept.06th, 2024, during a show in Evangelic Church in Weisswasser, Germany.

After 2024 "Live in Dresden", this recording uncovers a very different soundscape of the group, since they performed in a quartet setting for the first time ever.

The smaller setting as well as the acoustics and spirit of the venue made Slow the Band sound quite different, even surprising for those familiar with the band’s previous releases. The music is more spacious, peaceful, at times even contemplative. Also for the first time, the band plays not only original pieces but a few jazz and fusion classics.
